Manage Itinerary Tasks
Staff appraisers can organize and prioritize their tasks by creating an itinerary for the day. Staff appraisers can manage these tasks by reordering the itinerary, adding additional tasks, or deleting tasks.
Note: This feature is not available to all users and requires additional licensing.
How to
Add the tasks assigned to you to an easy to read itinerary for your day.
- Click Tasks in the navigation pane, and then click the list of tasks you want to view (Example: All Open). Sort and filter your tasks as needed.

On the Tasks page, click Select.
- Click the check boxes next to the tasks you want added to today's itinerary, and then click Add to Itinerary.
Tip: If you select the wrong tasks, click Clear at the top of the list to clear all the check boxes.
- The Tasks you selected are flagged with the word Itinerary in green to let you know what tasks were added. Click the Itinerary tab to view your Itinerary for the day.
Review your itinerary of tasks for the day. The Itinerary tab shows the number of tasks for the current Itinerary.
- Click Tasks in the navigation pane, and then click the list of tasks you want to view (Example: All Open). Sort and filter your tasks as needed. The Itinerary tab shows the number of tasks on your itinerary for the day.
- On the Tasks page, click the Itinerary tab.
- The Itinerary view shows your tasks in order and including a map with an ordered route of appointments to visit on your day. Use the arrows on the page divider to collapse or expand the map or the task list.
- Click Tasks to return to the Tasks list.
Add new tasks to your existing Itinerary. New tasks appear at the bottom of the itinerary.
Note: You can add a maximum of 25 tasks to the itinerary at a time.
- On the Tasks page, click Select.
- Click the check boxes next to the tasks you want added to today's itinerary, and then click Add to Itinerary.
- Click the Itinerary tab to view your additions.
Order the list of tasks in your itinerary. When your update the order, the route order is also updated.
Note: When you reorder your tasks in Mitchell Connect, the order is not changed in WorkCenter.
Delete a task from your Itinerary.
Note: When you delete tasks from your Itinerary, the task is not deleted from WorkCenter.
Reset your Itinerary by deleting all tasks in your Itinerary for the day.
- On the Tasks page, click the Itinerary tab.
- Click Clear Itinerary.
Note: All tasks are removed from your itinerary. Tasks are not deleted from the task list on the Task page.
You can update the status of an assignment from the Itinerary view in Mitchell Connect. The updated status is visible to the dispatcher in WorkCenter.

On the Itinerary tab on the Tasks page, click the Status link for the assignment you want to update. The Update Status window appears.

In the Update Status window, select the new status in the Status list.
- Optional: Some users have the option to send Notes to Journals. Enter information in the Notes box, then do any of the following:
- Click the Send to Journals check box, and (if available) select Public to allow all users in your organization to see the note.
- Click the Send to Journals check box, and (if available) select Private to limit the note to users with the ability to view Private Journals.
Note: The Send to Journal option, along with The Private and Public Journals option is not available to all users or may vary by workflow.

Click Update.
