Save or Submit the Total Loss Request
Use the steps below to complete the Mitchell Total Loss Request.
Tip: If you are not ready to submit the request, click Save to save your work.
How to

If you are not completed with your request, click Save and click X to close the window and return to the Job Overview page.

Click Refresh on the Total Loss Assignment card.

The status on the Total Loss Assignment card shows Unsubmitted.

Click Continue Request on the card to complete the request.

Enter additional notes and general comments in the Valuation Notes box. Comments entered are included in the valuation request and in the valuation report.
Tip: Use this section for specialty vehicles as these notes can help the Mitchell Total Loss Service Center create the most accurate specialty valuation report.

Click Submit for Review.
Tip: If your request isn't complete, click Save and click X to close the window and return to the Job Overview page. Click Refresh on the Total Loss Assignment card and the status shows Unsubmitted. Click Continue Request on the card to complete the request.

Review the confirmation message in the Submit window, and then click Close to go to the Job Overview page. The status on the Total Loss card is changed to Submitted for Review.
Note: You cannot make changes to the valuation request while the valuation status shows Submitted for review.
