Scheduling Engine
The Scheduling Engine automatically schedules appraisal assignments so that the workload is fair and balanced among your workforce (so all appraisers receive work), routes are clustered around the resources' starting points, are predictable, and minimize appraisers crossing routes or showing up at the same location.
You can run the Scheduling Engine on demand, as often as needed, or you can schedule it to run at a specified time.
How to
Configure the Scheduling Engine

On the Manage menu, click Scheduling Engine Options.

Select the options that fit your business needs. To learn more about these options, see the Reference section on this page.

Click Save.

Automated Scheduling Engine
|
Select the option to turn the scheduling engine on or off.

Run at
|
Enter the time of day you want the scheduling engine to automatically run. Click to select a time in half-hour increments from the list.

Number of days ahead to schedule
|
Enter the number of days into the future to schedule assignments.
|
|
Dispatch after auto-scheduler
|
Select whether to automatically dispatch assignments after the scheduling engine is run.
|

Schedule unready assignments
|
Select whether to schedule assignments that are set as Unready.
|

Profiles
|

Select a Profile
|
Select how the scheduling engine determines assignment schedules:
Load Balanced—Work load balance is given a higher priority than proximity to the assignment.
Geographic Clustering—Proximity to the assignment is given priority.
ZIP Code—Assignments schedules are based on resource territory defined by a radius or ZIP code. Use this profile when the Dispatch Center's territory is defined by ZIP codes.

Note: You can assign profiles to teams, as well as set a default profile.

Urgency Levels

Automatically set urgency levels
|
Urgency levels are set and can be adjusted in the assignment details. This scheduling criteria automatically elevates the urgency level when an assignment has not been dispatched within its set timeframe.
