Apply Alternative Transportation Service (ATS) to an Estimate
Alternative Transportation Service (ATS) allows an owner of a damaged vehicle to take a courtesy car from a repair facility when they drop off the vehicle for repair. Estimators apply the ATS cost to an estimate if the service is included in the policy.
The ATS rate can be included in the Estimate Profile for an insurance company. The rate is used to calculate the ATS allowance amount reimbursed to the repair facility.
Note: This feature is only available to customers in Canada.
Note: Specific rates are applied in the Estimate Profile by insurance company partners using WorkCenter.
How to

Follow the steps below to apply ATS calculation to the estimate if ATS was not included when the insurance information was added to the job.
Note: ATS is supported in BMS (Business Management Suite) file 5.1.1 or later. If you are using a non Mitchell estimating system that uses on older version of BMS (for example: version 2.5.0) the ATS information is not visible in the BMS file.
