Reference Sheet: Additional Costs, Materials, Operations and Body Components
Use a Reference Sheet to add lines for repair information that is not part of the OEM parts list. Reference Lines consist of:
- Additional costs and materials
- Additional operations
- Body components
How to
You can search for reference sheet items using the search bar. This is in addition to searching for parts by name.
- In the search bar on the Split View or Parts page, enter the description or line barcode for the reference sheet item or part you need to find.
- Select the appropriate item from the list to view the part or reference sheet item.
- Select the necessary repair operation.
- Enter the correct Labor Units and Price in the appropriate fields.
- Click Add Line to add it to the estimate.
- Click the Parts Selection or Split View icon in the estimate editor and then click the Reference Sheet tab.
- Select Additional Costs and Materials, Additional Operations, or Body Components.
- Click Additional Costs & Materials.
- From the list on the right, click to select the additional cost and material item that you need to add to the estimate (i.e., Towing).
- The details open to the right of the list, showing Description Operation, Total Price, and optional Add Part Betterment or Add Explanation.
- Enter the cost of the item in the Total Price field.
- Click Add Line.
- Click Additional Operations.
- Select a category:
- Additional Refinish Operations
- Frame
- Scanning
- Calibrations
- Welding
- Select the additional operation that you need to add to the estimate (I.e., Additional Two Tone).
- The details open to the right of the list, showing Description, Operation, Type, Total Units, Add'l Labor Amount, and optional Add Parts Betterment or Add Explanation.
- Enter the number of labor units for the operation in the Labor Units field.
- Enter the cost of the operation in the Total Price field.
- Click Add Line.
- Click Body Components.
- Select a category:
- Theft
- Cooling & A/C
- Frame
- Tires & Wheels
- Front
- Posts / Rocker
- Doors
- Floor / Roof
- Quarter Panels
- Electrical
- Rear
- Suspension
- Miscellaneous
- Select the additional body component that you need to add to the estimate (i.e., Left Front Door Assy).
- Select a labor operation:
- The details open to the right of the list, showing Description, Operation, Type, Total Units, Part Type, Part #, Total Price, and optional Add Parts Betterment or Add Explanation.
- Enter the cost of this component in the Total Price field.
- Enter the number of labor units for the component in the Total Units field.
- Click Add Line.
