Preparing to Export Estimates

Important: This topic describes how to configure your estimating program to export estimates. If your shop is already exporting EMS files, you're already configured. You only need to write down the export path (the location of the folder EMS files are exported to). You may need to go to this location when you upload the estimate.

Before uploading estimates, you must configure your estimating program to export estimates. Do this by setting the paths in your estimating system to export EMS, PDF, and MIE files if applicable to your estimating system and industry agreements. After setting the paths in your estimating system, export your estimates.
