Edit Resources from the Resource Details Page

The Resource Lookup maintains a database of service providers that can be assigned to claims. Edit the resource's details from the Resource Details page.

How to

  1. On the Manage menu in the navigation bar, select Resources.

  2. Select a Resource Type.

  3. Optionally, enter any other desired search criteria.

  4. Select Search.

  5. View the Search Results on the page.

Note: Resource Type is the only search criteria that is required, but you can add more search criteria to narrow results.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Hover over the desired resource's name in the Search Results list and select Edit.

    • In the resource information window, selectEdit This Resource.

  2. On the Resource Details page, modify information as desired.

  3. Select Save & Close.

  1. Select the Hours of Operation tab.

  2. Select the check boxes next to each day that is a work day.

  3. Enter the resource's work hours.

  4. Choose a location from the list.

  5. Select a Lunch Break Duration from the list, and optionally define a window for the lunch break.

  6. Select Save to save the information and continue working. Select Save & Close to close the Resource Details page.

  1. Select the Resource Type Information tab.

  2. Edit the information as necessary.

  3. Select Save to save the information and continue working. Select Save & Close to close the Resource Details page.

  1. Select the Locations tab.

  2. Select to expand the appropriate location section.

  3. Select Add Location in the appropriate location section.

  4. In the Add Location window, enter address information for the location, or select to search for and select a location.

  5. Select Validate.

  6. Select Save.

  7. Select Save to save the information and continue working. Select Save & Close to close the Resource Details page.

  1. Select the Locations tab.

  2. Select to expand the appropriate location section.

  3. Select the location you want to delete.

  4. Select Delete Location.

Use the Relationships tab to edit the dispatch teams, dispatch centers, sites, and shops with which the resource is associated.

  1. Select the Relationships tab on the Resource Details page.

  2. Select to expand the appropriate relationship section and view the resource's relationships of that type.

  3. Select Add Relationship in the desired section.

  4. In the Add Relationship window, select to search for and choose the appropriate site, team, center, or shop.

  5. Select the desired site, team, center, or shop.

  6. Select Save.

  1. Select the Relationships tab on the Resource Details page.

  2. Select to expand the appropriate relationship section and view the resource's relationships of that type.

  3. Select the relationship you want to delete.

  4. Select Delete Relationship.

To view Audit History:

  • On the Resource Details page, select the Audit History tab.

For staff resources, you can manage calendar appointments.

  1. On the Resource Details page, select to expand the Calendar section.
  2. Select the month arrow and use the forward and back arrows to display the month when the appointment occurs.


  3. Double-click the day of the month when the appointment occurs.
  4. Type a description of the appointment in the window.

  5. Do one of the following:
    • To set a full-day one-time appointment, select Save.
    • Select Options and use the All day and Recurrence check boxes to select the options that accurately define the appointment(s).

  6. Select Save to add the appointment(s) to the calendar.

Reference

Name Description
Resource Type Select either a Staff or Non-Staff resource from the first list, then select a category of staff or non-staff resource from the second list.
Only Shops in Network If you have selected a Non-Staff Body Shop, select the check box to limit your search to shops that are in network.
Dispatch Center

If applicable, select a dispatch center to view only appraisers assigned to that location.
Name Enter the name of the resource.
User ID

Enter the username of the resource.
With all of the following Expertise Select the desired check box(es) to narrow the search to resources with specific areas of expertise.
Search By Select the check box to narrow the search to resources within a specific area radius or territory.
Distance Select a search radius distance (in miles) from the ZIP/postal code or address.
Country Select a country.
Street Address Enter the street address.
ZIP/Postal Code Enter a ZIP/Postal Code.
Name Description
Resource Name The resource's name.
Partnerships Indicates how a resource connects with other systems, like Repair Center or MSO Integration.
ID

The resource's unique identification number.
Group Type The resource's category (staff, non-staff, shop, etc.)
Address

The resource's address.
Contact The resource's telephone and e-mail address.
Open Capacity The number of appointments a shop can accept at a given time.
Rating The rating you've given the resource.
Expertise The resource's areas of expertise.
Assignments The number of assignments currently assigned to the resource.
Distance The resource's distance (in miles) from the ZIP/postal code or address you entered in the search.
Workload Factor

The percentage of time the resource will take to complete the work.

For example, if an assignment is 60 minutes and the appraiser will take 60 minutes to complete it, then the Workload Factor is 100%.
Capacity The number of open or active repairs a body shop can have at any given time without accumulating a backlog.

DriveTime Factor

The percentage of time the appraiser will take to drive to the location.

For example, if the drive time is 60 minutes and the resource will take 60 minutes to drive there, then the DriveTime Factor is 100%.
Estimate Limit The maximum monetary amount allowed for an estimate.
Change Authority Enter a threshold. Change Authority is a system rule that compares an estimate to the previous version and automatically approves it if changes are below your set threshold, or flags it for review if changes exceed it.
Estimator Rank Rank the estimator based on experience. Values can range from 0-100.
Random Re-inspection % Enter the percentage of random re-inspections.
Territory Enter a territory radius or a zip code/postal code, if applicable.
Resource has the following expertise Select to expand and select the check box(es) next to all applicable areas of expertise.
Photo Estimating Capacity The number of open or active photo-based estimates a resource can have at any given time without accumulating a backlog.
