Mitchell Diagnostics allows you to complete and document the diagnostic portion of repairs in less time by providing a clear and concise PDF with line-by-line reporting. Diagnostics reports integrate with Mitchell Connect by automatically saving a copy of the scan report in Mitchell Connect and associating the report to a Job in Mitchell Connect (when the VIN matches).

From Mitchell Connect, you can:

• Review and designate Pre-Scan, In Process, and Post-Scan reports.

• Review Calibration reports.

• Add notes to the report.

• Send reports directly to the insurance company from Mitchell Connect.

• Print and save the PDF report.

Total Loss in Mitchell Connect allows you to retrieve the market value for a total loss vehicle and reach a speedy settlement with the claimant or insured. The market value is derived from an extensive database of comparable vehicles that are for sale, or have been recently sold, in the local, regional, or national marketplace. The data is current and the results are statistically validated to ensure an accurate valuation.

If you already know the vehicle is a total loss, you can start the process on the Job Overview page from the Total Loss Valuation card or you can convert an estimate to a total loss in Mitchell Cloud Estimating.

Mitchell Connect will open WorkCenter windows in your browser where you complete the Adjustment and Report Details forms.

Photo Bases Estimating allows vehicle owners to take their own photos of the damage to their vehicle using a specialized smart-phone app. These images are forwarded to the insurance company and the insurance company creates an assignment with these photos already added to the Attachment Gallery. Use the Attachments Gallery to view images or request additional photos from the vehicle owner. Use the images to assess the damage and write the estimate.
