Managing Resources

You can manage a variety of helpful resource information for staff and non-staff resources.

For non-staff resources (body shops and independent appraisers), you can modify administrative information, define the appraiser's expertise, and set workload capacity.

Note: For body shops, you can also assign a rating value and enter comments.

For staff resources, you can modify administrative information, define the appraiser's expertise, set workload capacity, schedule hours of operation, and set calendar appointments.

In addition, if you use WorkCenter Dispatch for your field appraisals, you can set alternate starting locations, restricted locations, and required locations.

For example, if an assignment is 60 minutes, then 100% of the 60 minutes is accounted for on the appraiser's schedule. For a new or inexperienced appraiser, you might decide to increase the workload factor to account for more time to complete the assignment. For example, for the same 60-minute assignment, a workload factor of 110% would account for 66 minutes on the appraiser's schedule.

The default value is 100%. You can modify the value from 25% to 1000%.
