View Delta Report for Mitchell Diagnostics

Use the Delta Report to compare Mitchell Diagnostics scans associated to a Vehicle Identification Number. The Delta Report lets you know if Current Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) have been cleared, new ones introduced, or if the trouble codes were unchanged since the previous scan.

How to

  1. In Mitchell Connect, click Diagnostics in the navigation pane.
  2. Click View Reports on the chart with the desired report type.
  3. On the Diagnostics Scans page, select any vehicle that has more than one scan.
  4. Click Compare Two.
  5. In the Scans list, click the check box next to the two scans you want to compare.

    Note: You can only select two scans.

  6. Click View Delta.

  7. The Status pane on the right shows the number of DTCs that were cleared since your last scan and any new DTCs that were generated. Scroll down through the report to review the comparison.

  8. Click Print to print the report or click Download to generate a PDF.
  9. Click Done to return to the Diagnostics Scans page.
