Use the Dispatch Scheduling Board
The Scheduling Board is one method of dispatching assignments in WorkCenter. It provides a centralized view of assignment status and resource availability to support efficient scheduling and dispatch operations.
Use the Scheduling Board to:

Assign appraisal assignments to resources using multiple methods, including drag-and-drop, manual assignment, and automatic assignment. See Assign Assignments from the Scheduling Board for more information.

View detailed assignment information by selecting an assignment on a resource’s schedule.

Reassign assignments between resources prior to dispatch. See Unassign and Reassign Assignments from the Scheduling Board for more information.
How to
The Scheduling Board displays the following assignment lists: Unassigned, Assigned, Dispatched, On Hold, Canceled. Each list displays up to 100 assignments at a time.
To view an assignment list:
Command buttons are located below each assignment list, and vary depending on the list.
You can filter the assignment list to show the desired assignments. Your filter selections persist between sessions.
You can customize which columns appear in the assignment list to show only the information you need.

In the Filters section of the appropriate tab, select Configure Columns.
- Do one of the following in the Configure Columns window:
- To add a column, select a column title from the Available Columns list and select Add to add it to the Selected Columns list.
- To remove a column, select a column title from the Selected Columns list and select Remove.
Note: The Selected Columns list shows the current column order.
- Select Up or Down to change the order of the columns shown.
Tip: The top of the list indicates the leftmost column.

The following columns are common to all scheduling board tabs. See below for columns unique to each tab.

| Preference | The claimant's preferred schedule date and time. |
| Urgency |
Level of urgency. Urgency levels are set and can be adjusted in the assignment details. You can configure the Scheduling Engine to automatically escalate the urgency level when an assignment has not been dispatched within its set time frame. |
| Attempts | The number of times an assignment has been dispatched. |
| Created | The date the assignment was created. |
| Name | Description |

| Status | The dispatch status of the assignment: Ready, Not Ready. You can assign an assignment that has a Not Ready status as long as it has a valid address. Once it is assigned, its status changes to Ready. |

| Attempts | The number of times an assignment has been dispatched. |
| Scheduled | The date and time the appointment is scheduled. Select to view the assignment on the Time View tab. |

| Place on Hold | Select to place the assignments on hold, for example if additional work is needed. Placing an assignment on hold prevents it from being scheduled by the Scheduling Engine, and it cannot be dispatched. |

Select to use the Scheduling Engine for selected unassigned assignments. |
| Reassign | Select to reassign selected assignments to another resource. |
| Reopen |
Select to reopen the selected canceled assignments. |
| Export | Select to create a report of the information on the active tab. |
| Refresh | Select to update the page to see the latest changes and assignments. |
| Create Assignment | Select to Create A New Assignment. |
| Run Scheduling Engine | Select to use the Scheduling Engine for all unassigned assignments. |

| Find Nearby | Select an appraisal source from the list or a location to view nearby assignments. |
| Assign To | Select an appraisal resource from the list. |
| Assignment Status | Select All, Ready, or Not Ready. |
| Scheduled Date | Enter a date range when the assignment was scheduled. |
| Held Date | Enter a date range when the assignment was placed on hold. |
| Canceled Date | Enter a date range when the assignment was canceled. |
